We want Deoch Mara to leave the planet, and the people around us, better off. That’s why a portion from every can you buy goes to the Mara Fund, supporting environmental and social causes.

Our sea moss comes from the wild Atlantic waters off Connemara, so we see first-hand how much depends on a healthy environment, from the seas under pressure from overfishing to the coastal communities whose livelihoods depend on them. Making any product takes resources and energy, which is why we try to be as sustainable as possible in everything we do, from our packaging to our locally sourced ingredients.
